Shelby K.
(she/her)
MÖv Flow + MÖv Slow flow
Shelby’s classes are dynamic, grounding, and rooted in authenticity. She creates space for students to move, challenge themselves, and rest, with the hope that everyone leaves feeling embodied, supported, and empowered in their practice. Drawing inspiration from nature and her own yoga journey, Shelby encourages students to find a sense of grounding and connection within themselves. After graduating from MÖV’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in June 2026 and teaching Karma Classes, she’s excited to officially join the MÖV teaching team.
How did you find your way to yoga?
Shelby discovered yoga about a decade ago while in college, looking for a form of movement that felt good in her body. After trying a hot yoga class for free, she found herself returning almost every day after school. What began as a new way to move became something much deeper, offering her a sense of empowerment, grounding, and homecoming that she hadn’t expected.
What should we know about your background?
Shelby recently graduated from MÖV’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in June 2026 and has been teaching Karma Classes ever since. She describes her teaching style as dynamic, creating space to move, ground, and rest while helping students feel embodied, supported, and empowered, even through challenging postures. She draws inspiration from nature and her own yoga journey, bringing authenticity and vulnerability to her classes.
What Else Should we know about you?
Originally from a small town in southwest Minnesota, Shelby has called the Twin Cities home for the past three years. She loves spending time outdoors, especially camping, backpacking, and exploring the Boundary Waters. In the winter, you can find her at home with her husband and two black cats, Olive and Violet, crafting, reading, or cooking. Costa Rica is her favorite place she’s traveled!
